~V~ & his animal friends

Victor's compassion and respect for animals was remarkable. From the time he was a baby, he had dogs, a bird, a tortoise, and a chinchilla. He became their true friends and treated them with a gentleness and understanding far beyond his years. His compassion also extended to those animals who were lost or abused. If he saw a stray animal in the street, he was the first to say "Let's stop and help". He stood with those who were trying to right some of the wrongs happening in the world of animals. His greatest gift, though, was the special personal bond he shared with animals. There were a few so special he thought of them as "best friend".
His loyalty and love will long be remembered and we smile when we think of the reunion he must have had with his beloved animal friends.
With love,
Diane

Skeezer and V were bound in friendship for over a decade.  Playing frisbee, sleeping side by side, watching TV, or just being together.  V and Megan had a terrific bond of friendship and respect.

We just know that their bond lives on.

Bless the Beasts and the Children

Bless the beasts and the children
For in this world they have no voice
They have no choice
Bless the beasts and the children
For the world can never be
The world they see
Light their way
When the darkness surrounds them
Give them love
Let it shine all around them
Bless the beasts and the children
Give them shelter from the storm
Keep them safe
Keep them warm
